ミランダ・カー人気

ミランダ・カーの人気が日本でもだいぶ浸透したように見える。
名前を知らない人でも顔を見れば「ああ」と言うかもしれない。
そしてその逆も少なくないかもしれない。

書店には、（そんなタイトルがあるかどうかは知らないけど）「ミランダ・カーbook」や「ミランダ・マニュアル」のような、彼女の私生活とファッション、美容に焦点をあてて特集したような本が並ぶ。普通の雑誌中にインタビューが載る、という形ではなく。

同じくらいの年齢で、同じようなことをして活躍している女優やモデルはたくさん存在する。
なのになぜミランダだけがここまでの人気を（ここ日本で）博すのだろうか。

①親しみやすい顔

西洋人の顔としてはだいぶ丸顔である。
顔のパーツがどちらかと言うと中心に寄っている。
「きれい」というより「かわいい」のだ。
より、日本でウケる、アイドルたちに近い感じがする。
日本人に受け入れられやすい顔をしていると思う。

②近寄りやすさ？
ニコール・キッドマンが近くにいたらビビッて話せないかもしれないが、ミランダだったら話せるかもしれない。
旅行先のシドニーで、アイスクリーム屋のお姉さんにでもいそうな感じがしませんか。

さて、重要なのはここから。

彼女の話題が耐えないのは日本だけではなく海外も同じ。
私が毎日見ているDaily Mailでも毎日何かしらミランダに関する記事が載っている。

インターネット記事の何が面白いかって、記事の下に書かれるコメントである。

What's with the 2 jackets? Especially the one just draped over her shoulders...is it a trend or something? cause I'm seeing it everywhere and personally, I think it looks ridiculous.

So where's Flynn right now? Orlando is in Colorado skiing. I'm sorry, I'm sure he's "working". Like he was "working" on the Hobbit for seven whole months. Miranda said Flynn and Orlando didn't go to Australia with her because of Flynn's schedule (they've hardly spent any time in LA in the past, so not buying that story or LA being the place they'll settle). Never mind that they took him to Cancun for a three day trip the week before that. Flynn's either in LA being watched by nannies or he's with one of his parent, but being watched by nannies. The Daily Mail probably won't post this. They don't want to distract from the real story being Kerr's outfits and their goal of having you fawn and worship this woman solely based on her looks and scripted PR talk.

ひどく嫌われているじゃないか。

「パパラッチされて喜んでる」
「ヴィクトリアズ・シークレットのショーみたいな格好してる。ジゼルとは違って」
「今までで一番うざいオーストラリア人」とか「strumpet」とかまで言われている。
しかも皆その意見を支持している。
「息子は2歳になったばかりなのに。世話はどうしたの？」というごもっともな意見もある。
日本ではかなりちやほやされている一方でこういった意見があることはほとんど知られていない。

どうやらジゼルにはなれないようだ。
